Doug-Pup

As a new 501(c)(3) charity, we are in need of financial support to continue our mission. Our expenses are constant, and community donations are generally one-time contributions.

Please see our list of average monthly expenses:

  • $800 Boarding costs at property in Santa Clarita that will allow our dogs
  • $600 Veterinary care
  • $500 Feed cost
  • $200 Vaccines (we provide all our puppies their full set of shots)
  • $150 Wormer, health remedies, medications
  • $100 Spay of mother dogs when pups are weaned

We have also recently incurred the capitol expense ($5,000) of purchasing multiple dog kennels as we set up our new Santa Clarita facility.

We would be grateful for any contribution you might choose to give. Please help support our mission to make a positive difference in these dogs’ and adopters’ lives.

Helping Bobo!
Senior dogs need love too!! This is Bobo, he’s 16-18 years old and still has a spring in his step! We have had him as a “foster” for 8 YEARS!

He needed a soft landing in a home, and we finally found a wonderful foster who is willing to adopt him, once we get his teeth done- he needs extractions and big work. That costs $3,000-4,000 in the real world, but Dr Novy will do it for $600-1000 depending on how many teeth he has to pull.
Dr Novy is so generous to our rescue, and makes it possible for us to get the best care for our dogs…

We will be happy to accept any donations on Bobo’s behalf!

3 ways to Donate:

  • Zelle: [email protected]
  • Venmo: @tillyrt (Cathryn Doody)
  • Checks made to: PLMR (Puppy Love Maternity Rescue) please mail to:  P.O. Box 1197 E. Los Angeles Avenue, Unit C191, Simi Valley, CA  93065

Although we focus on moms and puppies, we could never turn our back on a hard case like Bobo. He had a loving owner until they died, and the family dumped him and his “brother” at the shelter- 8 years ago. They were going to be euthanized because they were “old” at 10-12. Now they are 16-18!

His “brother” Charlie still needs a foster, so if you want to help these seniors please reach out.
Thank you SO much for supporting what we do!  Any donations will be to help with vet costs for Bobo or others in similar situations.
